Melody Mason was elected alongside Molly Neuroth, forming the first all female executive leadership of the Student Association. Melody, despite being elected as a sophomore, chose to focus on her studies instead of seeking reelection. Neuroth, the younger sister of previous student body Julie Neuroth, would unsuccessfully seek to the office the following year.
